This is a small rubber or plastic pad that sits on the dispenser actuator lever on the front of a refrigerator. It provides the contact surface you press your glass against to activate the water or ice dispenser. Replace this pad if it is cracked, missing, or worn down, causing difficulty triggering the dispenser.
This is a small heating element that wraps around or sits near the ice maker fill tube to prevent water from freezing inside the tube between fill cycles. It keeps the pathway clear so water can flow freely into the ice maker mold. Replace this heater if the fill tube is clogged with ice, the ice maker stops producing ice, or you notice water backing up and leaking near the fill tube area.
