Ice dispenser not working or auger keeps falling off? This coupling connects the motor to the auger. Simple 15-minute DIY fix restores ice dispensing.
Required new ice bin (container) which has busted up in pieces from the stress of trying to turn while half melted ice had it jammed, something had to give. This is the chute component that directs water from the fill tube into the ice maker mold inside the freezer compartment. It ensures water flows accurately into the ice tray without spilling into the surrounding freezer area. Replace this part if water is leaking around the ice maker, ice forms outside the mold, or the chute is cracked or blocked with ice buildup.
