This separator assembly, also called a funnel guide or ice door, is located inside the dispenser chute area of the refrigerator and helps direct ice from the ice maker into your glass while keeping cold air from escaping. It separates and guides ice cubes through the dispenser opening. Replace this part if ice is jamming in the chute, dispensing erratically, or if warm air is leaking into the freezer compartment through the dispenser area.
