This clutch assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer and is intended for use in washing machines. The clutch assembly controls the movement of the internal tub and agitator during operation. Over time and with regular use, the clutch assembly may become worn and fail to work correctly. This washer clutch housing assembly contains the clutch mechanism that engages the wash basket during spin cycles. It allows the basket to rotate freely during washing and lock for high-speed spinning to extract water.
