Very simple fix. Part was fairly priced. Shipping and handling was a bit much. Fast ship. Only needed a nut driver, pliers, and a torx 20. The repair was super easy thanks to their little help video posted with the part Read more
I removed and inspected the lid magnet. It had a 1/8" layer of corrosion. I removed the layer of corrosion and reinstalled the part. the symptom improved. That was a stop-gap repair until the new lid magnet arrived. The broken rubber isolators were discovered when I removed the top of the washing machine. Read more
Replaced the power resistor on the timer assembly. Solved the problem. Read more
Fix was simple. Hardest part was taking off old part and attaching the new part. The drum was in the way but I worked around it. Started by opening dryer top, then unscrewing the timer mechanism in order to create some slack. Removed the wires from the start switch and replaced the old switch with the new one. Reconnected the wires and screwed everything back in place. Simple fix wish I had more strength in my hands. Girl Power!! Read more
