Ordered a new flood switch and activation stem from Aplliance Parts Pros.com. Order was delivered in about 3 days. Installed new switch and stem in about 15 min. Removed front kicker panel with two screws, the switch was just inside the panel secured with two screws. remove the electrical connector, removed screws, replace the two new parts..put the screws back in place and ran the washer...no overflows. To fix the problem of washer running while door was open, took off the front panel and changed the plunger sw interlock and spring which fixed the problem of washer running while door was opened mid wash cycle.
