I looked on the Appliance Parts Pros website and they carried the complete control panel assembly. While I was fixing it, I decided to also replace the dead light bulb and the door switch and the cracked turntable. The microwave is a built-in model, so replacement is quite expensive. The actual repair was pretty straight forward and took me about 1.5 hours. The microwave works great now! Read more
First, please learn how to judge what "Uhhh, Uhhh" means from your wife. Then look over to at what she is apparently looking at to see fire inside one of the microwaves. Walk over, open the door, pick up the on fire newspaper and dump it in the sink. She had placed the folded newspaper up against the emitter. Thank you for sending the correct part. I had to purchase a set of tamper resistant torx wrenches from Home Depot for $10. I removed the cover off of the oven and there was the defective part. I replaced it in about 5 minutes, reassembled and the oven is good to go. Thank you so much. You saved me the cost of a new microwave.
