Replaced the Main Control Board Assembly along with the evaporator and condenser fan motors. I thoroughly cleaned the very very dirty condenser with a 4$ brush offered by the parts specialist and while I was at it, I changed the door seals and replaced one of the door trays. Beats the crap out of spending $10,000 on a new refrigerator that because of Covid 19 wouldn't be here before the middle of November. Thank you Matt for your help! Read more

Verified the dampers actuated and evaporator fan wasn't blocked. Replaced both door gaskets per tech manual guidance. The Freezer one came yesterday...still waiting on the fresh food one. Freezer one went on fine -- just a little challenge aligning the bottom, but got it after only a small bit of frustration. It has already helped fix the situation it seems. This solenoid saddle is a small mounting bracket that secures a refrigerator solenoid in the correct position. By preventing movement and misalignment, it helps the linked mechanism engage smoothly and consistently.

10-18 hex washer screw for securing panels, trim, brackets, and components in appliances. Replaces lost, stripped, or corroded fasteners.
The auger motor failed and wouldn't turn. I replaced the motor and it works without a problem. Make sure you dont throw away the motor boot or buy one if you don't have one. Otherwise, the temperature will freeze up the motor and lead to premature failure. Read more

This was a very easy repair, the on-line video at AppliancePartsPros.com was helpful. The Helix was spinning freely (meaning, the Auger Blade was not holding it in place on the Auger). Pulling the assembly apart was a snap, and very logical (the video is perfect if you get lost). The family is now enjoying both crushed and cubed ice - and the redesign of the Auger Blade seems to prevent clogging in the ice shoot. Read more
