Hardware Hand Small Engine Spark Plug Parts

The constant cooking and age of the appliance I repaired corroded the housing attachment that holds the igniter in place to the burner. Also the screws that hold the burner in place to the stove cover were also corroded which caused the burner itself to not stay in place but fall into the stove. I ordered a replacement handle from Appliance Parts Pro.com and installed it after watching the video at their site for a similar model. The video told of the trick on removing the door surround that allowed me to access the handle screws. I purchased new handle screws at the same time I bought the new handle. The new handle and screws were a bit different than the original but fit perfectly. Hopefully it will be more durable than the original handle. Read more

Well after looking the issue up on YouTube I first tried the cleaning of the burners no help. So I decided I needed to replace either the harness switch assembly or the spark module. I decided that since I had to remove the glass top and install either and put if all back together before I would know if it worked, I just did both at once since it seemed it had to be one or the other. I was very pleased to get the glass on time and it was a perfect match. The only thing I had trouble was to get the screws required to fix. The screws were not available, so spend too much time trying find equivalent screws in homedepot. Read more

Replaced the ignitor glow bar and deflector oven (which had a hole burned through it). Screws stripped upon disassembly of original deflector oven and needed to be replaced as well. Read more

I was able to replace the switch harness with the new one. It was fairly simple and straight forward. I usually take a photo of the scene before I start so I have a reminder as to where everything goes if I get distracted. Also gave me an opportunity to clean the stove parts. Read more
