I replaced the keypad entry and it fixed the problem for 24 hours, but then it beeped and entered 0. But is much better than it was. I am an electronics tech and I know through the yrs 2000-2010 there were a rash of bad capacitors produced. I now believe a second board which has these capacitors is the source of the problem. I also believe the second board let voltage spikes through which slowly damaged the keypad board. My goal is to order the capacitors which cost less than a $1 each... Read more

The problem was that the housing on the main panel for the start switch had broken and the switch was no longer stable. So for quite sometime now I have been rigging it in place however I could so we could start the drier. I finally got tired of that and started looking up the parts. After receiving the part, I found I had to dismantle the left side of the handle in order to fix the right side that was broken. When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also.
