Replace this indicator light if it no longer illuminates even after changing the bulb, or if the lens is cracked or discolored.
Used a multi-meter to diagnose the problem. Ruled out the incoming power source and the control switch. Determined it was a failed heating element. Watched videos showing how to remove the glass top from my slide in range. Removed the top and replaced the heating element. Went to google and found "Appliance Pros" Information. Pulled up a complete diagram of the cook top. Called and ordered the Switch Kit by describing it from the diagram this was April 1, 2015. I had been told by TWO parts house that the Indicator Light part had been discounted, but you could still get the Lens.
