Luckily this repair is a relatively simple process.To remove the old dryer pulley assembly, start by making sure the dryer is unplugged. Remove the lint screen from the top of the dryer. Remove the two Phillips screws by the lint screen opening. Depress the clips that hold the top cover down. Lift the top cover and keep it in an upright position. Disconnect the wire harness to the switch that separates the connector. Remove the screws on the front panel. Lift the panel forward and set it to the side. Next, lift the drum and locate the pulley assembly under the drum. Lift the belt off the motor pulley to remove the assembly. Set the new pulley assembly in the same position as the old one and make sure everything is aligned. Rotate the drum to make sure it rotates smoothly. reinstall the panels.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Bosch, Gaggenau, and Thermador dryers.
