I measured the resistance between the two connectors on the magnetron: should be close to zero ohms and it was. I measured between the same connectors and the metal case: should be mega ohms, it was 15k ohms. That is a bad, partly shorted unit. Replace Thermostat on top of cavity. The thermostat is attached via 2 bending sheet metal tabs. Ours blew because the two wires connected to thermostat shorted, connectors melted. The short was caused by buildup of grease under thermal wire cover, shorting both leads. The unit is used heavily. This is the first thermostat to go.
