Upper Rack Rollers Parts

Thanks to the testimony of others on the site, I knew exactly which parts to order. The triangular holder which keeps the ice storage container was cracked so I replaced it. I also ordered a new Auger Motor Drive Shaft which makes the curvy metal piece in the bin turn. Mine had worn down and would not turn the curvy metal piece anymore. Replacing these pieces worked like a charm. My kids were amazed that ice now comes out of the door after 2 months of having to reach inside. Read more

Checked out You tube video. Easy tune up. One gasket was damaged and I did not notice that the brush holders has no brushes. I believe a quick call to Appliance parts pros will fix this, besides I need a few more parts. I expect to get another 20+ years from this KitchenAide mixer, once repairs are competed. Watch out for the single lock washer located on the rear upper housing screw, you don't want to lose this! Read more

I made my first order with just the make (GE) and Model (Monogram) What was shipped first appeared to be a generic GE rack set. I read some other folks post and some said they made minor adjustments to these racks and they worked fine. I was not happy with the fit and returned the first set. At first it seems that the pulley can't be removed to make this repair. However,after removing the screw that holds the pulley in place, if you take a small screwdriver and tap the center of the pulley bracket with a hammer it comes out from behind and will go back in with hand pressure after repair.
