The Temperature Sensor is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. Also known as a thermistor, is responsible for sensing the temperature changes and providing the necessary feedback to the refrigerator's control board. It helps maintain accurate and consistent temperature levels, ensuring optimal food preservation and efficient cooling.
Causes of a faulty temperature sensor can include wear and tear over time, damage due to electrical issues or exposure to extreme temperatures, or sensor calibration issues. These factors can result in temperature inconsistencies, inaccurate readings, or improper cooling performance of the refrigerator.
Symptoms of a bad temperature sensor may include:
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
The Moisture Sensor Holder is an OEM part for LG dryers. It is designed to securely house the moisture sensor, which detects the moisture level in clothes during drying cycles to adjust drying time and ensure efficient operation. Causes of a bad moisture sensor holder can include wear and tear from regular use, damage from physical impact, or warping due to exposure to high temperatures. Symptoms of a bad moisture sensor holder include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.
I have order three parts, guide filter, cover guide, and sensor assembly. My previous cover guide was from two parts, when sensor assembly was one of them. New part ( guide cover ) was all in one piece so I just transfer old metal part of sensor to new cover guide and I don't need that sensor assembly anymore. I have ordered all three parts overnight by Fedex, ordered 15 min before 5pm, so next day it was here. Dryer is fixed, I'm happy. Read more
The temperature sensor is an electronic probe that monitors internal appliance temperature and reports it to the control so it can regulate operation. Replacing a failed sensor restores more accurate temperatures and can clear temperature-related error codes. What it does:
Replaced the bake element. The manufacturer did not leave enough wire to pull the connections into the oven so I had to open the back and locate the connections. Read more
