This 6-position switch assembly replaces a worn or damaged selector switch to restore reliable electrical switching for the appliance control. It helps recover proper cycle selection and responsive control inputs for normal operation. What it does:
- Routes power between control circuits so selected cycles and settings engage correctly.
- Restores reliable selector/position switching when the control won't change settings.
- Common symptom when failing: appliance is unresponsive to cycle changes, selections don't register, or operation is intermittent.
- Matches the OEM switch function used in the control/timer area of compatible units.
What's included: One switch assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any service to avoid shock hazard.
- Remove required panels or the control console to access the switch; keep track of screw locations and wire connections.
- Photograph or label wiring before disconnecting to ensure correct reassembly.

Our water started to hesitate before dispensing. This happened for about a week and then it stopped dispensing altogether. The ice maker was working, but when I put my ear above the dispenser, I heard no humming when depressed. Searched for a solution and watched some youtube videos and decided to try this part. Worked like a charm. Install was sloppy because I was trying to remove and replace from the back of the cover. In fact, peeling th adhesive off the front was the only way. It looks...

Blower fan would not reliably come on compressor worked ok Steve P. • Indianapolis , IN • September 02, 2014
Air circulation (blower) fan would not come on reliably. Had a hard time getting up to speed and sometimes would not even run. This capacitor fixed that problem, fan comes on quickly like it was when new. This is a 25,000 BTU room air conditioner, I didn't want to replace it with another one for about $700 especially since it is only 3 years old. I spent under $40 to fix it.

I replaced the water lever/electric pressure switch. Immediately the washer ran like a new machine. No problems pausing or stopping to add water and draining as before. This repair is very simple and takes less than 10 min. All you have to do is remove two phillips screws on the panel just below all the controls. Once removed the pressure switch is on the left side with a clear rubber tube attached with a spring clip. Simply squeeze the clip together with some pliers and slide it down then...

Bad igniter switch on stove Brent W. • Alamo , CA • January 08, 2016
I was able to replace the switch harness with the new one. It was fairly simple and straight forward. I usually take a photo of the scene before I start so I have a reminder as to where everything goes if I get distracted. Also gave me an opportunity to clean the stove parts.
