This oven floor deflector assembly restores proper airflow and heat protection in the lower oven cavity so food cooks evenly and internal components stay shielded from direct heat. It's a direct replacement for a damaged or warped deflector. What it does:

Replaces the false bottom panel that covers the lower oven interior. Needed when the original is discolored, warped, burnt, or damaged beyond cleaning.
Replaced it with a new one. Had to remove the oven door which was straight forward. The door's a little heavy so be sure to get a good hold and have a place prepared to set the door while you replace the bottom. False bottom simply slides in and out. Reinstalling the door is a little trickier than removing it. Mine was the bottom oven so I couldn't see the hinges align with oven slots. It helped to have some guide the hinges into the slots and confirm they were correctly set. Read more
