Keep your batch-feed disposer operating safely and easily. This actuator handle inserts into the sink opening to start and stop the disposer and also functions as the sink stopper on batch-feed models, replacing cracked, worn, or missing handles.
- Engages the internal switch to start/stop the disposer when inserted and rotated
- Provides a secure grip for controlled batch-feed operation
- Helps seal the drain to hold water in the sink between uses
- Symptoms include: disposer won't run or runs intermittently with the handle inserted, handle is cracked/loose, or won't lock/turn to engage
What's included: One actuator handle assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the disposer before testing or handling parts
- Ensure the sink opening and splash guard are clear so the handle seats fully
- Insert the handle into the drain, align/press down, and rotate per your owner's manual to engage; reverse to stop
- Never place hands inside the disposer; use tongs/pliers to remove objects
