This dryer motor kit powers the drum and blower. Replacing a weak or failed motor restores proper tumbling and airflow so the dryer starts reliably and dries loads more evenly.
Replaced the motor with a new one, if I can offer any advice about doing this job, make sure to keep track of where each wire goes on the motor and whatever wires need to be disconnected. Replaces a worn, damaged, or misaligned dryer motor pulley. Guides the drive belt and transfers motor power to the drum for proper rotation.
Replaced belt, pulley with a 4 grove pulley. Pulley that was on there was a 3 grove pulley, Had to cut the old one off, Press on to shaft. Replaced rear drum bearing. Bearing was locked on with a snap ring. Access to it from a removable plate on the back side of dryer. Reset belt and idler puller by removing a long back plate on the bottom rear side of the dryer.
