Simple. Just pulled out the old and popped in the new. Rangetop looks much better, though grates and burner rings (no longer available) could use repainting with heat resistant enamel or some other treatment. Read more

The knobs were perfect. However, the grommets arrived in black rather than white. A phone call to customer service informed me that this part is no longer available in white and that the site would remove the photo. Rather than return the plastic grommets I spray painted them with white Rust-oleum paint for plastic that was in the garage and they look fresh and new. Read more

Gas stove spark ignition electrode includes retaining clip for mounting.
Sealed burner gas cooktop has to be removed from the counter top in order to disassemble. This means disconnecting the gas line. To disassemble the unit you will have to remove the gas line regulator. Once the unit is separated you will see the spark module. I replaced the module. Note: Because the new module has been updated from the original it does look different. I suggest you put the new module along side the old taking one wire at a time from the old to the new. To test what the problem was, I removed the pressure regulater from the oven. I attempted to gently blow though the regulater with my mouth, and no air came out.
