Ken B Wayne , NJ November 22, 2016 Dryer would not heat I looked at online repair videos on how to fix a Maytag dryer. When I knew what parts I needed, I could not find any local supply stores for the part. It was late Friday afternoon when I ordered my parts on AppliancePartsPros.com It stated Standard delivery was two business days. So I expected my parts to arrive on Tuesday. To my great surprise, the parts arrived on SATURDAY. Totally shocked, but extremely pleased. Terri G Fredericksburg , VA January 15, 2023 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer WED5000DW2 The dryer became extremely hot (clothes were hot to the touch on low) and then would not turn back on. Originally during troubleshooting I didn’t keep going once I found the fuses were blown and just replaced those and the thermal cut-off and thermostat. The dryer worked for a few loads and then did the same thing again becoming extremely hot and then blowing the fuse again. Turns out it was the heating element all along. Of course this happened on a Friday and I didn’t want to go all weekend without being able to do laundry so I ordered a version from one of your competitors that would arrive the next day. I know, big mistake. It worked for a few loads and then the same issue, so I ordered the heating element from AppliancePartsPros.com. Paid for expedited shipping and now my dryer is running like it’s brand new again. This was a pretty simple swap and the YouTube videos online make it incredibly easy for anyone to follow.
