This dryer motor kit powers the drum and blower. Replacing a weak or failed motor restores proper tumbling and airflow so the dryer starts reliably and dries loads more evenly.
Replaced the motor with a new one, if I can offer any advice about doing this job, make sure to keep track of where each wire goes on the motor and whatever wires need to be disconnected. Removed back panel of dryer. Pulled out part out of its clamp. Placed new igniter in clamp, then dried some clothes and it worked. Read more
