This hub connects the dryer drum to the drive motor, allowing the drum to rotate during drying cycles. It transfers rotational force from the motor through the belt system to tumble your clothes. If your dryer drum won't turn, makes grinding noises, or the belt keeps slipping off, a worn hub is often the cause.
