I called your helpline and the lady was very helpful and I got the correct switch ordered. The switch arrived and it took only 10 minutes to install. Right switch, the installation was a breeze. Jeff T Morehead City , NC May 02, 2023 The Whirlpool glass cooktop two controll switches failing to control burners running on constant high. I pulled out the range and removed the upper the back panel, checked the numbers on the control switches to ensure I was ordering the correct ones. Control switches arrived quick enough. Disconnected power to range, removed back panel, 10 phillips head screws, removed the knobs and two phillips head screws from the front of range. I had to lightly pry wiring harnesses connected to the switches off, but then just connect to new switch as continued the process through four harnesses. Then I just reinstalled everything in reverse order in witch I disassembled them. It was easy!
