Description

This bracket is the mounting base for the dryer's cylinder support roller. Replacing a bent or worn bracket restores proper roller alignment so the drum turns smoothly, reducing vibration and noise and preventing premature wear.

• Provides the fixed mount for the cylinder support roller
• Maintains drum alignment for smooth, even rotation
• Replace if the bracket is bent, cracked, or mounting holes are elongated
• Common symptoms of a failing bracket: loud rumbling/thumping, scraping, excessive vibration, or visible roller misalignment

• Disconnect power; for gas models, also shut off gas supply
• Access the roller area per your model's service information and support the drum
• Transfer the roller/axle and spacers from the old bracket; install the new bracket in the same orientation
