Description

This water-level pressure switch monitors tub fill and signals the control to shut off the inlet valves and advance the cycle. Replacing a failed switch restores accurate filling and helps prevent overfilling or cycle stalls. What it does:

• Senses air pressure from the tub via the pressure hose to determine water level
• Signals the timer/control to stop filling when the set level is reached
• Enables the transition from fill to wash and subsequent cycles
• Common failure symptoms include continuous filling or overfilling, no fill, failure to advance from fill to wash, or water-level/pressure switch error codes

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
• Note wire locations and transfer connectors one at a time to the new switch
• Move the existing pressure hose to the new switch; ensure an airtight, kink-free connection and inspect the hose for cracks or blockages
• Mount securely and run a test fill to ensure proper shutoff before normal use
