Description

This spark ignition switch mounts on the gas valve shaft and signals the ignition system when you turn the knob to Lite. Replacing a worn switch helps restore dependable burner lighting and can reduce nuisance clicking from a stuck switch. What it does

• Closes the circuit to the spark module when a burner knob is turned
• Triggers the igniter to spark so the burner lights
• May help resolve: no spark at a specific burner, intermittent ignition, or continuous clicking with knobs off (stuck/wet switch)
• Designed for use on the valve stem behind the control knob

Install notes

• Disconnect electrical power; shut off gas if working near supply lines
• Pull off the knob and access the switch on the valve stem
