This lower oven bake element restores the primary heat source for Bake cycles in electric ovens. A failed element can cause no heat or uneven results; replacing it brings back consistent preheating and baking performance.
- Heats the oven cavity from the bottom during Bake mode
- Replaces a broken, shorted, or visibly damaged element
- Common symptoms: no heat in Bake, slow preheat, or uneven baking
- Helps the oven maintain set temperature once preheated
What's included: 1 bake element Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance before servicing
- Remove mounting screws; gently pull the element forward to access and disconnect the two spade terminals
- Transfer wires to the new element, secure with existing hardware, and ensure wiring/insulation isn't pinched
- Restore power and test a Bake cycle
