Peter R Baltimore , MD January 25, 2015 Replaced broken oven door handle Overall the fix wasn't too hard. The challenge was putting the oven door back together and holding it together while trying to tighten the screws. Enlisted my wife's help to hold the door and at first the handle screws wouldn't tighten. My cordless screwdriver's battery was under-charged. Once I switched batteries I was able to tighten the screws. Seemed like I needed to push too hard (my wife freaked "not so hard you will strip them!") however pushing hard was what was needed. Both screws tightened and job complete. Read More... 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Diane P Spring Creek , NV April 25, 2017 Appliance: Model SF3621LXSQ0 Need new handle for the oven door and 2 new screws. I purchased 1 handle, and 2 screws, based on the picture on line, the screws were the correct ones as they appeared to look just like the ones I took out. But the screws that arrived were different than the ones in the picture. I called and talked with Terry and he agreed that I was sent the wrong screws based on the information I had and the picture on line. When the second screws arrived they were exactly the same as the first ones, and would not work with the handle. So I called again, and discussed it with a different gentleman, he was also very nice and helpful. We determined that the screws possibly had been changed since the stove was over 10 years old. So he shipped 2 more screws that I paid for, and although they were different than the original ones they worked perfectly and the oven door is now back together. I would like to thank the 2 very nice gentleman that helped me with my problem, they were patient, and very understanding, and listened to what I was trying to explain, and with out there help I would have never got this oven door back together again.
