Leo S Buffalo , NY November 19, 2024 Appliance: KitchenAid Small Appliance, Stand Mixer, Tilt Head, 5 Qt KSM150FBER0 The kitchenaid mixer i was asked to fix would turn on but the mixer would not spin sounded mechanical to me You Tube is my friend…..I looked up common issues with the KitchenAid mixers, and saw how to take it apart with “ease” - discovered the broken plastic worm gear; Appliance Parts Pros had a great part breakdown and I was able to locate and order the replacement gear (I bought some washers as well but was able to re-use the existing ones) within about 10 minutes. Received the parts in about 3 days and put it all back together successfully - a refurbished wedding present for a friends’s kid that works like “new”. Read More...
