Description

This membrane switch touch pad is the user interface that lets you send commands to the oven/range control. Replacing a worn or damaged touch pad restores reliable button response and control-panel input. What it does:

• Registers user button presses and transmits them to the range/oven control board so functions (bake, broil, timer, etc.) can be selected.
• Correct intermittent or unresponsive buttons, stuck inputs, or control panel input failures.
• Provides the tactile surface and labeled keys for the front console; worn legends or delamination can cause input problems.
• Connects to the control assembly at the console area and aligns over the command keys.
