Mary Ann F Manchester , MI April 16, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer WED94HEXW2 My clothes dryer was making a high pitched squealing noise I did a troubleshooting search using the model number of my dryer. That led me to AppliancePartsPros.com. The information on the site said that the most likely cause was that the idler pulley system needed to be replaced. I watched the video on how to do the repair and decided to try repairing it myself. The parts arrived within 3 days. It took me, a novice, much longer to complete the repair than estimated but that was not a problem. I managed to replace the system (just 3 parts) and put the dryer back together. Success! I now have a working dryer and a sense of accomplishment! Note: Be sure to check all the parts in the repair kit against your model number. The washer that comes in the kit didn't match my dryer and I had to purchase a separate washer for my repair. Read More...
