Jack H Jonesborough , TN April 03, 2021 Appliance: Whirlpool 30" Electric Range Ceran Cooktop Convection Oven GR450LXHT2 Our oven was turning out underdone baked goods. The stove is about 19 years old. We had a difficult time getting baked goods to be cooked on the inside as well as outside (bundt cakes especially). I replaced the oven temperature sensor probe, used a digital oven thermometer (as well as the older type) to measure the oven temp. The older, dial thermometer hit and pretty much stayed at the set 350 deg F. The digital one showed a plus/minus 20-degree fluctuation and all seems well. We haven't baked a bundt cake to test, yet, but we will soon. I believe it will turn out as it did in years past. Mike H Poway , CA April 21, 2014 Fef3 error code on kitchenaide superba FEF3 error code or maybe it was F3FE, in any case I looked up the model number and error code online. Found multiple connections to this error code and the oven temperature sensor. Found a good video on how to replace a temp. sensor. It mentioned checking the sensors Ohm readings with a multimeter to be sure it was the problem. I tried that but the leads on my cheap multimeter were too big. So, knowing I could return the temp. sensor without problems I went ahead and spent the $76, including shipping and tax for the part, took off the back of the oven, removed the one screw holding the sensor in place, plugged in the new one, put it into the oven, replaced single screw, then replaced back of oven and asked my wife to make those yummy lemon cookies I like, to "test" my repair. It worked. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
