Description

This switch/wire lead assembly is used on select ranges and wall ovens to control a specific function. Replacing a worn switch restores positive on/off control and reliable power flow through the attached leads. What it does:

• Opens or closes the circuit for the assigned feature when actuated
• Routes power through the attached leads to the controlled component
• Symptoms can include: feature won't start, won't turn off, intermittent operation, or heat-discolored/burned terminals or wires
• May feel loose or fail to click/hold position compared to normal operation

• One switch with attached wire leads

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
• Access the control panel or mounting area; note wire locations (take a photo for reference)
• Transfer wires one at a time to the new switch; reuse original mounting hardware
• Restore power and test the function before final reassembly
