Kelly W Houston , TX January 24, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator IS25CFXTQ00 Water dispenser was no longer working After being told by a service repairman that it would cost me close to $200 to repair, I resolved to just not use the dispenser. After about a year, I had decided that I wanted to repair it and would look at the options myself. At the least, I could figure out which parts were needed to repair it and have them on hand for a service guy if I determined I could not do the job myself. The more I studied it, the more I felt confident that I could do it, and sure enough, when the part arrived - a $12 bracket no less - I repaired the piece, cleaned out the inside and had it back together in just over 30 minutes! I easily could do it again in less than 15 now that I know what I'm doing. Keep in mind I had never before even studied or attempted to repair this part, but by viewing the website and their explicit diagram, it was easy to see what parts I needed to do the repair. I'm only angry with myself for having waited this long to attempt to fix it!
