Description

This lid switch actuator engages the washer's safety switch when the lid is closed so cycles can start and spin as designed. Replace a broken or missing actuator to restore proper lid switch engagement and reliable operation.

• Engages the lid switch when the lid is closed to enable agitation and spin
• A worn, cracked, or missing actuator can cause the washer not to start or to stop before spin
• Intermittent operation that changes when pressing on the lid often indicates misalignment
• Lack of an audible "click" from the lid switch can point to a faulty actuator or alignment
