John V Baton Rouge , LA December 20, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool 24" Built-In Electric Double Oven Std-Clean Lower Self-Clean Upper RBD245PDB15 Our oven would beep and turn off or on with no one around it I called the service department where we first purchased our oven and they sent a repairman. The service charge was 75. and the estimate to replace the touch pad and the mother board was 690. That didn't sound right to me so I checked APP online and called for advice. The repair cost me 175. and took less than an hour. The only tool I needed was a phillips screw driver. I had a problem removing the ribbon that was attached to the mother board but I called APP and they walked me through the problem. The oven works great and I saved 500.
