Mary C Grass Valley , CA November 08, 2016 Appliance: Amana Electric Wall Oven AOES3030E The oven door would not close entirely My repairman said that he thought the hinges were bad and that the springs probably were the issue. He said that normally one replaces both hinges. However, the right hinge for my Amana wall oven model # AOES3030E is no longer available. So I ordered this left hinge assembly. I had reason to believe that the left hinge was the problem. When I pressed in on the top right of the oven door, the left side was still open. But when I pressed in on top left of oven door, the entire door shut nicely. When we took out the old left hinge and examined it, we saw that the problem was a failed bearing, not the spring. Installing this new left hinge solved my problem! It is far better to pay a labor charge to my repairman than to buy a new oven!
