Leonard B Knob Noster , MO December 09, 2014 Appliance: Model PACM1580ASO My microwave convection oven began to operate simultaneously with the shutting of its door Having researched (on your website) the potential cause of my problem (and having confirmed that the door switch had electrical continuity), I ordered a replacement control board. When it arrived (after only two days--standard shipping), I couldn't figure out how to release the panel, behind which the board was mounted. That was the provocation for my "live chat" with one of your professionals, who offered suggestions, the most arduous of which required my removal of the microwave's entire case. Even so, that revealed the single (offending) screw that, when removed, accorded me access to the control board's enclosure. Upon disconnecting and reinstalling the eight electrical connections to the control board and reassembling the microwave-convection over, it (once again) works, just as it should. As has been my experience over the past few years, I'm quite pleased with your company's prompt service, competitive pricing and readiness to assist those of us who have a deficit of appliance-repair experience. Your company's repair products and expertise have enabled me--a DIY lawyer--to repair my own Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator, my Thermador double oven, my Maytag Neptune washer (twice), my Bosch dishwasher and--most recently--my Amana microwave-convection oven. I am among your most satisfied customers and shall resort to Appliance Parts Pros, whensoever the need should again arise. Read More...
