Description

This drain pump assembly moves water out of the washer during the drain and spin parts of the cycle. Replacing a weak, noisy, or leaking pump restores proper draining, prevents standing water, and helps cycles finish correctly.

• Disconnect power and water supply; wear gloves. Bail or wet-vac remaining water and place towels or a pan to catch spills
• Clamp and remove inlet/outlet hoses; note hose orientation and routing
• Move wiring connector(s) one at a time to the new pump and secure the pump in place
• Ensure hoses are clear and clamps tight; run a drain/spin test and check for leaks
