Ed V Ripon , CA February 09, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Washer NFW7200TW11 Nd error code I verified that there were no drain line obstructions. Checked the ohms across the pump motor. Ran the washer through the diagnostics test. Determined that the main control board must be the problem. Washer would run until the spin cycle. It would pump down and continue pumping even though there was no water. Would not advance to spin. It would time out and flash the nd code. I was able to get it to run by shutting it off, turning back on and selecting the spin only button. Thought I would try replacing the water level pressure switch. This did not work. As I removed the pressure switch to put my old one back in, I looked at the black rubber tubing that connects to the bottom of the switch and decided to blow on it. As I did, something blew clear. There had been buildup of some kind in the other end of that tube. Finished putting my old sensor back in, started up the washer and it has worked like new. I've noticed other people have this same code. I hope this helps someone else. Perry T Plainwell , MI January 03, 2019 Appliance: Maytag Washer NFW7200TW11 ND error code on NFW7200TW Amana front loader Ultimately, I blew through the hose that attaches to the pressure switch. There was initially significant back pressure and then it blew free. Prior to this, I replaced the pressure switch, the main control board, and the pump. All of those were likely unneeded, but unfortunately no web links indicated this particular fix and Amana support was no help. I was very satisfied with the cost of parts on this site and the instructional video links. Just wish I had know to check for clog in the pressure switch tube prior to buying all the parts. Still better than paying for a repair visit though. Read More... 13 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
Jillian R Punxsutawney , PA March 10, 2019 Cold water not shutting off then new issue no water at all Two parts, Pressure Valve and Inlet Valve only took me 10 minutes to change out. Funny incident, when I reconnected the water hose ad turned the water on, my hose had a pinhole in it! Took me longer to drive to the home store to get a new hose than it took to get my machine fixed and running. The videos were great!!! Helped me confirm the parts I needed and showed the location and ease of doing the repairs myself. GREAT!
