Description
This control overlay is the thin, labeled membrane that sits over the range/oven control console to protect buttons and display while providing the user interface. It restores legible button labels and responsive touch areas for normal operation. What it does:
- Replaces a worn, faded, or damaged control panel surface so labels and icons are readable.
- Protects the underlying control board and switches from spills, grease, and wear.
- Restores responsive button/soft-key areas when the overlay is causing intermittent or unregistered presses.
- Helps prevent contaminants from reaching the electronic control beneath the console.

Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work to avoid shock or damage.
- Remove the console or trim to access and replace the overlay; carefully lift straight to avoid bending the underlying PCB or ribbon connectors.
- Keep all fasteners and grounding hardware with the console; do not allow liquids to enter the control area during reinstall.
- If the overlay is bonded to adhesive or requires adhesive transfer, follow OEM instructions or use an appropriate replacement adhesive to ensure a secure fit.
