Randall H Louisburg , KS July 30, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer SDE3606AYQ The belt tension pully was binding on the idler arm causing the dryer to squeak at start up I took the tumbler drum out and looked at the pulley and it was not rotating freely. The idler arm had some wear on the attached post so I replaced bothe parts. Since I was in there already I replaced the drum rollers and dryer belt for good measure. I reassembled the dryer and it works great. The best part of the experience was the parts order. I ordered the parts around 3:00 pm one day, standard shipping, and they were on my doorstep around 1:00 pm the next day. I'm still wondering how AppliancePartsPros managed such extrordinary customer service. Hat's off to them! Stanley R Bellingham , WA February 04, 2017 Appliance: Model GAS DRYER My dryer was screeching in pain I ordered and replaced the idler arm, belt tension pulley and dryer belt, and lint filter, Should have done it sooner, Our old lint filter was broken and not catching all the lint. I cleaned enough lint out of the dryer alone to fill 1/2 of a 5 gallon pail! This is a gas dryer and if this was not dealt with it could have caught fire! easy fix, took 3 hours total including removing the ducting under the house and cleaning it also. Read More...
