The lady I talked to was very helpful. The dishwasher pump replacement was accomplished after watching a video. Read More... Jeff L Buckeye , AZ April 14, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator GS5VHAXWY01 Auger coupling was stripped. All I needed as the auger coupler that connects it with the drive shaft to the ice maker, but the screw attaching the coupler to the auger was corroded and I ended up stripping the screw. So I had to drill out the old screw and scrap the auger. Bought a new auger, screw, and coupler and the repair went well. Robert R Wayland , NY July 13, 2023 Appliance: Model ED5FHAXYS01 Ice distribution center broke at the gear bushing at the bottom I went on your site and found the rod I needed based on the scale drawing you had. I guessed on the coupling you had shown but didn't look close enough. But I salvaged the old one and took the unit apart with some difficulty. The old rod expanded at the bottom when the bushing tore out and I had to grind it down with a dremel. Put the new rod in and the unit works fine, cubed, and crushed ice! Read More...
