Whirlpool W10389329 Washer Inner Tub Spin Basket OEM Part

Replaced the Inner Tub Basket. We watched the video, ordered the parts, and swapped out the basket in a breeze. We were very surprised, and pleased, with how easy the repair was. This saved me labor costs not having to hire a repairman, and, worst case scenario, saved me from having to buy a new washing machine.

It was recommended that I replace in the inner tub because the old balance ring was causing major balancing issues. I ordered the inner tub and the spanner wrench. They arrived they day after Christmas and I was able to do the repair the next Monday. The only problem was the videos and online help said the tub should easily pull up after the spanner nut was removed, but the years of gunk and crud accumulated around the drive shaft acted like a super glue and I had to read several online forums and try just as many tactics to free the tub.
