Description

This belt-drive is the replacement drive belt that turns the dryer drum so clothes tumble evenly during the cycle. It restores drum rotation when the original belt is worn, stretched, or broken. What it does:

• Wraps around the dryer drum and motor/idler assembly to transfer motor torque to the drum
• Restores normal drum rotation when the belt has failed or slipped
• Helps eliminate symptoms like a non-turning drum, rubbing or squealing noises, or intermittent tumbling
• Compatible with dryers that use a single continuous drum drive belt

Install notes:

• Disconnect power (and gas supply for gas models) before servicing
• Access the dryer drum per your model's service instructions—usually from the front or rear—before removing the old belt
• Route the belt around the drum and idler/tensioner exactly as shown in the model's diagram; ensure proper tension and alignment
• If you encounter damaged pulleys, idler, or motor issues, inspect and replace those parts as needed
