Description

The Door Catch Bezel is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool electric and gas dryers. It is located on the inner door frame and acts as the latching mechanism.  

Causes of a bad door catch can include wear and tear of the plastic tang and spring from years of repeated opening and closing of the dryer door. Over time, this limits its ability to fully engage and latch securely.
