Bryant L St. Cloud , MN October 25, 2022 Appliance: KitchenAid 5 Qt. Stand Mixer Architect Series - Tilt Head KSM150APSCS0 The bowl wouldn’t stay in the stand. The beater shaft moved up and down the beater caught and broken the worm gear. The bowl was defective, the extrusions on the bottom weren’t distinctive enough and would pop out the base. The beater shaft was loose causing the beater to move up and down. There was a fiber spacer missing. I was a Montgomery Ward appliance technician and I knew exactly what the problem was. I fixed it all in about 1 hour with the parts from this site. All the parts are correct OEM and very reasonably priced and quick shipping. It cost 100.00 to repair. Thanks ?? Read More... I bought a new mixer bowl and cap screw in hopes that one of these would fix the problem. Our old mixer bowl works with the new cap screw and the new bowl has an even tighter fit. Read More...
