Whirlpool WP3412D021-26 Range Sealed Surface Burner Head With Electrode, Gray OEM Part

Replaced burner. Later figured out all I needed to do was take the burner out and shake it repeatedly until all the carbon and charred paint flakes came out. Did that to the other three burners. Apparently the wrong paint had been used on the interior of these burners.

The fix was quick and easy, and I was very happy with the delivery time.

Ordered two new burners and replaced the old ones. Had to replace a connector on one igniter wire on each burner. Cleaned the rust from around the burner seat.

Ordered replacement top burners. They were easy to repair by twisting old burners counter wise to remove, and removed the two little plugs attached. Installed new burners, first reinsert back 2 little plugs, center burner and place over the triangular indentations, press down and twist quarter turn clockwise to lock in place. Done.

Replaced sealed burner assemble one was high performance burner wp3412D021-26 and the regular wp3412D024-26. Got top burner spark igniter to replace too wide lug on high performance unit. Twist off old unit, vacuum rust, detach and attach electrical connectors, align spark igniter position close to original position and 1/8 turn to lock in place. Job done.
