Description
This outer cabinet assembly replaces the dryer's main outer shell to restore structural support and proper alignment of the drum and controls. It protects internal components and helps reduce vibration and rubbing for safer, quieter operation. What it does:
- Houses and supports the drum, motor, blower and control components
- Keeps internal parts aligned to prevent rubbing, noise or binding
- Protects electrical and gas components from debris and accidental contact
- Helps maintain proper airflow path by securing panels and seals
- Restores proper fit after dents, corrosion, or impact damage
What's included: One outer dryer cabinet assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect electrical power (and gas supply for gas dryers) before starting any work
- Removing the top and front panels and drum may be required for access
- Handle large panels carefully; two people may be needed to avoid injury or damage
- Inspect door seals, mounting hardware and gaskets and replace if damaged
